[토플_토스 Speaking]4. 개인정보관련 질문

토플과 토스 Speaking에서는 짧은 시간을 준비하고 약30초 ~약 45초를 이야기 하는  방식을 준비하기 위해, 제가 과거에 공부하면 작성한 내용입니다.

부족한 부분이 많이 있으며, 부족한 부분이 있는다는 점을 참조하여 사용하시면 될 것 같습니다.

1) 질문지를 이용한 나의 주장

1. Job and Poeple

Describe your ideal job and explain why you like it. Use details and examples to support your explanation. My ideal job is to be a veterinarian.

One main reason is that I love animals. I would like to know how to help sick animals get better. When my cat was sick, I took her to a vet. The vet was very kind, and I was impressed with his skillful manner. He made me want to be a vet.

Another reason is that as a vet I would have to use science. Science is my favorite subject, especially biology. I enjoy studying science, and I always get good grades.

For the reasons I mentioned, I think being a vet would be a fulfilling and fun job for me.

The person who influenced me the most is my mother.

One main reason is that she taught me good manners. To start with, she showed me good table manners. I never speak with my mouth full or leave the table before others. She has taught me to be polite to others.

Another reason is that she taught me about making decisions. I always make important decisions cautiously. She says a decision can change my whole life. I always try to be careful when I have to decide on a certain thing.

For the reasons I mentioned, my mother influenced me the most.

 

2. Personality and ability

Describe one of the weak points in your personality and explain why you want to change it. Please include specific details and examples in your explanation.

For me, one thing I want to change about myself is being shy.

One main reason is that I have a hard time making friends. Sometimes my friends invite me to their parties. But I rarely go because I don’t know how to start talking at a party. That means, I have few friends because I’m too shy. Another reason is that other people misunderstand me. For example, last week when my teacher asked me a question in class, I couldn’t answer it. The teacher thought I didn’t know the answer. But I was just too shy to speak out the answer I knew.

For the reasons I mentioned, I want to get over my shyness.

The most important quality that a student should have is diligence.

One main reason is that students need to do lots of extracurricular activities. Diligent students usually do lots of activities such as joining sports clubs, volunteer groups and so on. This is helpful when they apply for jobs.

Another reason is that it is important to study subjects in depth. It’s only possible to get really good grades by studying very hard. That’s why diligent students usually perform very well in their major courses and other classes. For the reasons I mentioned, I think diligence is important for students.
